I think Filipinos likes korean drama, because we can easily relate to the situations (e.g Boys over Flowers - a rich guy will be in love with a less fortunate girl, and His mother will not let him love the girl that He likes)

 But also the writers gives an extraordinary twists to that simple scene. And some of them are really unpredictable which is very unsual but so cool.
